Every year, billions of dollars change hands in an industry that is filled with...boring conversations about debt and equity and markets and policy. Meanwhile, the real information is scattered and hidden in a thousand small places. But how does any of it actually work? At Hyaline, we aim to find out.

We are building software that allows us to better understand how power systems operate, how they make money and what incentives they have. We discover who owns them, and where the money came from. We find out whether power plants actually make money, and where the money goes.
